The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology Congress (EULAR 2026), the premier annual event in the global rheumatology community, is set to convene in London on June 3rd.

The research findings titled "In Vivo CD19 CAR-T cell Therapy Induces Tissue B-cell Depletion in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus," a collaborative effort between MagicRNA and the team of Professor Chen Zhu, Director of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at the First Affiliated Hospital of USTC (Anhui Provincial Hospital), have been rigorously reviewed and successfully selected for the highly prestigious "Clinical Poster Tours: From pathway to patient - therapeutic advances in Lupus" session (Poster Tour III).

The selection of this breakthrough research not only underscores the international academic community's high recognition of the clinical value of in vivo CAR-T technology but also marks MagicRNA's entry into the forefront of innovative therapies for autoimmune diseases on the global stage.

Top-tier Teams Join Forces to Scale New Academic Heights

As one of the oldest and largest rheumatology congresses in the world, EULAR has been leading industry transformation since its inception in 1947. At this year's conference, Professor Chen Zhu will serve as the presenting author, representing the team in showcasing this significant progress.

The research has been selected for the "Clinical Poster Tours" session. This honor serves as a testament to the powerful synergy between MagicRNA's proprietary technology platform and the robust scientific capabilities of a top-tier clinical team, jointly contributing a highly valuable "Chinese solution" to the global rheumatology community.

Breakthrough Therapy: In Vivo LNP mRNA CAR-T Opens a New Era in SLE Treatment

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease for which conventional therapies often struggle to achieve long-term remission. MagicRNA's innovatively developed in vivo LNP-mRNA CD19 CAR-T therapy (pipeline candidate: HN2301) directly targets CD19, a key antigen on B cells, to efficiently induce tissue B-cell depletion, offering new hope for SLE patients. By leveraging the LNP-mRNA mechanism, HN2301 bypasses the complex and time-consuming manufacturing hurdles of traditional ex vivo cell products. Furthermore, this in vivo approach is anticipated to offer a differentiated and more controllable safety profile, potentially minimizing the risks of Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity .
